Darryl grew up in boatyards: his father was a master boat builder, and Darryl himself built custom high-end ski boats before moving into marine service, fibreglass repair and custom work. From 2003 he spent more than twenty years at Freedom Marine alongside Peter Priebe, putting hundreds of families into boats they loved. Recently retired from sales, he now skippers for Yahull — the captain who can tell you how your boat was built, not just where to anchor it. Off the water you'll find him mountain biking the North Shore, skiing Whistler, or slalom waterskiing in Belcarra behind his own Boston Whaler Montauk.
