Interim version v0.1 · in effect from 2026-10-05 · a counsel-reviewed version will replace this page

Who can write

Only a guest who booked and paid through Yahull, and whose trip has gone out, can write a review. One review per booking, written by the person who made the booking. A booking that was refunded in full can't be reviewed.

The morning after your trip we email you a link to write your review — no account or password needed. If you haven't written yet, we send one reminder two days later, and that's all. The link stops working 30 days after the trip.

What a review has

  • An overall rating from 1 to 5 stars.
  • If you like: stars for Captain & crew, Boat and Value; a few words (up to 2,000 characters); up to 5 photos.
  • Your name as your first name and the first letter of your last name (for example, Sarah K.), and your city if you add it. We never show your email.

What we publish

We publish every review, good or bad. We don't choose which reviews appear, we don't hide or push down low ratings, and we don't change a word you write. Each review is marked Verified booking with the date of the trip. Until something has 3 reviews we show New instead of an average.

What we hold back

Some reviews wait for a person at Yahull to read them before they appear — for example, if they seem to include a phone number, an email address or a link, swearing, or something that isn't about the day on the water.

A review is taken down only if it has:

  1. a phone number, an email address, a link or an advertisement;
  2. swearing, hate or harassment;
  3. something clearly not about the day on the water;
  4. private details about another person.

A review that waits is not deleted: if it breaks none of these rules, it goes up exactly as written. When we take one down we write down which rule, who decided and when. These four rules — and your own request — are the only reasons a review comes down.

Photos

Photos appear with your review only if you tick the box that lets Yahull show them on the site.

Replies and reports

The boat owner, captain, host or crew a review is about can reply once, in public, under the review. If they think a review breaks one of the four rules they can report it; a person at Yahull decides, writes down why, and either takes it down or leaves it up. Anyone else can report a review by writing to support@yahull.com with a link to it.

Changing your review

You can change your review from the same link for 48 hours after you post it. After that it can't be changed — write to support@yahull.com if you'd like it taken down.

We do not pay for reviews

Nobody is paid, given a discount or offered anything else for writing a review, whatever it says. If that ever changes, this page will first say what is offered, and that it doesn't depend on what you write.

Reviews from other sites

We don't copy reviews from other websites onto Yahull.

Effective 2026-10-05.
