The day
Your group has the boat to itself — no one else aboard, the whole deck yours. Most days leave from a downtown Vancouver marina and run along the city's waterfront, with the skyline on one side and the mountains on the other. Most of these charters depart from a downtown Vancouver marina and cruise along the city's waterfront, with skyline and mountain views by day and harbour lights at golden hour in the evening. The pace is yours to set — linger where the light is good, or simply cruise out and back. A captain runs the boat.
- · 2PM — Meet your skipper at the marina and settle in on deck before the lines come off.
- · The boat eases out and cruises the downtown Vancouver waterfront at your pace. The route is yours to shape — skyline, sunset, or out and back slow.
- · The boat returns to the same marina when the time is up.
Getting there
You meet your skipper at the marina and the boat brings you back to the same marina when the time is up. Meeting points vary by boat; check the marina for the boat you book. These charters can be booked no later than 1 day before the start time.
Who it suits
A private charter suits groups who want the boat to themselves and the freedom to set their own pace — sightseeing, celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, and relaxed gatherings. Group size depends on the boat, so match the boat to the number of people you are bringing. Food and drinks are not served on board, so this is not for anyone expecting catering as part of the charter.

How a custom trip works
- What am I looking at?
- A day that has already been run — a real boat, a real crew, a real route. What you see is what it was, including the price it ran at.
- Is the date fixed?
- No. Pick a day and we check it with the boat and the crew before anything is confirmed. Real boats keep changing plans, so this takes a little time rather than a click.
- Will my price be the same?
- The price shown is the price this day ran at. Yours may differ — season, fuel, crew, how many of you there are. If it changes, we tell you what changed before you pay.
- Can I change the trip itself?
- Any part of it — route, hours, seats, where you board, food, what the day is for. You don't edit it here: you talk it through with us. Tell Yara what you have in mind and we work out a version together, with its own price.
- Who am I talking to?
- Yara. AI, working with the Yahull team.
